Maybe some of you guys can help me. I'm wanting to get a video camera to carry with me on the Engine at work so the engineer can set it somewhere and record the exterior operations and the changing smoke conditions from the interior crews. I'd also like to bring it along when going hunting.

So it'd have to be somewhat compact, last a couple hours between charges and have decent sized memory to it and be able to plug into a usb port. You guys have any recommendations? Looking to spend no more than 300 dollars.

I have a firefighting helmet camera mounted on my helmet but the angles make it hard to watch, especially if you're doing a lot of work.
