I'm pretty sure its order only. I think its worth the wait, its the fastest phone Verizon has out! I haven't had any trouble with signal at all. It's just like any other phone but Verizon is strong out here in so cal. Oh and the screen is bigger and higher resolution then the others

Oh yeah and yes you can upgrade it. Supposedly Verizon is coming out with 4g and the incredible will be able to upgrade to 4g

    Don't think it has a 4g antenna.

Ok i work at best buy for best buy mobile.. and i sell verizon..

Just to clear up some things....

Hd2 is only available on tmobile... droid x is a similar size but made by motorola not htc.

Battery life on all smart phones suck.. but the incredible has an o-led screen and a good processor (snapdragon) so its better than most.. and no the incredible is not upgradable to LTE(4g), its a totally different system based off sim cards.. the incredible has no sim slot...

Now between the droid x and incredible.. its all preference.. do you want a 4.3 inch screen or a 3.7? The droid x does have a way good battery and hdmi out.. but the phone is just huge. Droid x has better specs but incredible is still amazing just lacking the hdmi out and big screen..

If i had to wait anyways since no one has incredibles in stock. i would go with the droid x because i prefer the bigger screen.. the phone is also made of metal not plastic and sports the nearly indestructable gorilla glass where as the incredible does not.

    So yeah

Battery life is a bit lacking if you use it hard. I have the incredible, and I do keep it plugged in to the USB port on my PC at work. For talking, it will easily handle my weekly phone calls to my folks. Those can last as long as three hours, so no complaints overall.

The first Droid is falling apart left and right. Slide out keyboards are a big fail.
