? Seems pretty average to me. You may be thinking of the last girl. Tammy Dombeck. You could prop them up with some poles like an awning

I bought my 4Runner from Toyota of Dallas. I was less than pleased with the buying experience there but will continue to buy from their parts department. All said and done they made good on the sale of my Runner. But there was too many games and not enough communication. Also the finance guy was really sensitive. Just me yelling at him made him cry. Pussy.

Their parts dept sucks. They are unfamiliar with any pricing other than list.

Their parts department is trdparts4u.com isn't it?

Double checked, and yeah, it is.

TRDParts4U is great. Their prices on OEM parts is some of the best I've found. Especially local. Which is good because my Tacoma eats tie rod ends and CV boots on a daily basis it seems.

TRDParts4U is ok, depending on what you are purchasing. I was referring to their retail dept, which sucks. On quite a few parts I've asked about, they don't come off list.

TRDParts4UU and the standard parts counter are not the same department at the Toyota of Dallas. Ifound that out the hard way a few months ago. I will give the parts guys credit that they made the sale right by me but I had to get hostile to make it happen. I do what I can to avoid having to go back.

That's interesting. That was pretty much the only reason I checked out ToD.

Similar experience. TRDparts4U decent customer experience. Actual parts guys kind of an A-hole.

I much prefer to get my OEM stuff from Toyota of Grapevine.

If buying or servicing a truck go to Patt Lobb in McKinney, I have bought 3 vehicles from them and they have beat every other dealer each time. Service dept is good too.

ToD installed my lift and my supercharger. They were good to work with on both - bought the parts through the TRD counter and then they recommended the service manager to work with. I stayed with the service manager when he made the move to Texas Toyota in Grapevine. I think the key to find a good service manager. I ply him with the occasional bottle of Crown just to keep love in the air. I can't remember how many free alignments I've gotten out of him.

Bought the truck at Toyota of Plano, but arranged the entire transaction over the internet. Only went to see the truck when I was ready to sign docs. I was pretty forceful with what I wanted and it was on the ground at Mountain States Toyota in Denver, CO. I had talked to the Denver folks a few times on the phone and they were used to TX customers coming up there to get 4WD. I told the guy that he had to meet my criteria or I was going to CO to get the truck. He managed to find me a 4wd in Texas and get it shipped to the dealership. If you seize control of the dialogue, you can get what you want. Don't deal with a sucky salesman. Be prepared to walk.
