Cool thing is that it will idle like stock. Sometimes when you go with bigger injectors, 550cc and over, idle goes to crap. My friend, Torspd, introduced me to the Gates evo ten with 2000cc's and it idled like stock and I was like "gemme!" Right now I'm just building the foundation for boost. Thinking of going with a turbonetics GTK 500.

 

Oh ok I see but your not gonna put them on yet ?? Cause you'll definitely need a tune with those big ass injectors, I'm lookin to turbo charge the taco myself, I got the money I just need some more guidance

 

Hell yeah I'm going to put them on. Tunings not a big deal for me, I can do that on my X1 with xtune. I should make a little bump in power just due to the fact they are new vs 91,000 and they offer better atomization. There was a guy on youtube running around with ID 2000cc on a stock little honda 1.8 and drove fine. If you have a 3rz you can make great power on that engine turbocharged.

 

I yeah I got a 3rz I wanna boost like 11-13 pounds conservative tuned

so im originally from the area but never really done a whole lot of wheeling in the area. going to be down there next week for a weekish.... heard theres a place around marble falls? thoughts?

 

There are a couple, Long's ranch and Hiden falls. Been to both, didn't get to see much of long's cause I had a short weekend only had a day but expect alot of TX pinstripping if ya know what I mean. It also has a river that runs by it for a quick dip. Hidden falls has alot of trails at different ratings very rocky and if it's dry expect alot of dust.

 

Yep I've only been to hidden falls once and she was nice and dirty when I left.

Leaves, twigs, sticks, and dust all over the inside of the truck. haha so much for rolling up the windows!

yeah i think im going to push for hidden falls. i don't mind a little pinstriping but with all the stuff they use on the roads up here i don't want it to become an issue. how are the mild trails out there. i don't have my sliders yet.... big issue?
