ANything around Lake Mathis?

Staying with some friends at a lake house out there this weekend. All I know is that its 3 hours from Austin..anyone have any experience out there, any trails to play around on?

Are you sure it's Lake Mathis? I know of pretty much every lake in Texas and never heard of it. Also google shows Mathis Lake south west of Atlanta, GA.
3 hours from Austin will get you to most major cities in Texas.

there is the city of mathis tx, right next to lake corpus christi and is 3 hours from austin.

my mother in law lives outside of that little town mathis, it's about a mile from the lake and my neighbor has a lake house there too. I've never seen any trails around there
