    I also live in Austin as well and fly Helicopter EMS in the area. We flew over Bastrop yesterday and saw them still putting out fires north of 71 between Bastrop and Smithville...it looks rough there, so much destruction. It was crazy that the fire jumped from house to house in some cases and missed others completely.

    Yes, I agree, there are fires all over Texas. We need rain real bad!!! Sad to say I do not see much in the forecast.

    Here is one I took going up to lubbock on 87 before post on Easter of this year! They have been around for a while.

    Not hurting so bad today... we have been getting rain off and on for the last two days!!!!!

    Damn... now I need to mow the grass this next weekend. Can't win them all I guess. lol

    That's some rough stuff. When you pray for all the familys affected don't forget to add in the firefighters and other workers who are putting in long difficult hours to fight these fires.
