I use the auto mount. It's a large suction cup with multiple adjustment angles.
Boca Chica beach is on the Brownsville side of the Ship Channel. It's not considered SPI and you cant' reach it from SPI. The good think about BC beach is it's not monitored so it's easier to ride the dunes. SPI is and you can get fined for riding on the dunes.

only ben to boca once and it takes so long just to get there, i didnt want to drive all the way north. just messed around on the dunes at the enrance.

but that looks a lot more fun

Just added y'all to the going/maybe list.

Let us know if anything changes. :)

I actually made it to the Boca Chica jetties one time, in my old 2008 pre-runner. 4-5 am by myself, driving close to the water where the sand is most compact, and having to drive a bee line along the water, with no one to pull you out, really made me wonder why I was out there.

It's a long ass drive though, atleast it felt like it.

Hey Henry, was your video edited, or was the drive really only 7 minutes from the beach entrance to the jetties?  I honestly don't remember how long the drive is out there once you hit the beach.

Liked the way you floored it when passing by those people. :p

 just realized I was typing my previous post, as you posted yours, and we both don't remember the time it takes to drive out there. haha

Hey, does anybody plan on doing any mods to their trucks before going out there?

Yes it's the very far North side of Boca Chica beach. It doesn't take very long to get there. For sure it's less than 30 minutes.

The camera picks up the engine noise very well mounted on the hood. I did rev it up but I think it was because the sand was getting very soft in that area.... maybe I was showing off just a little. :)

The video was edited, alot of the long drive was cut out.

I think it's about 1/2 an hour but it could have taken a little longer ***EDIT: I looked at the orginal video and it took 20 minutes from the entrance to get to the far north end.

It's a lot longer getting to the entrance of the beach down Boca Chica. What we do is go to Massey's shooting range and fire off a few rounds down range then cruise down to the beach. Makes the trip worth it.
