Go wait at the tax assessor's office to get it registered (about $52), once registered get it inspected at any place (usually $40) make sure you take your insurance card with you.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
It's pretty cheap... if you live in Harris county, you'll have to have emissions done along with a "safety inspection" which is basically making sure your lights and horn works.

Have to get an out of state inspection done and they'll give you the inspection sticker.

Then follow the directions found here:

Not strict at all, you've seen the trucks rolling around here? Their headlights and taillights are completely blacked out with no light output at all and still pass. Just make sure your truck doesn't throw any codes.. and idk about property tax on a vehicle.. never heard of it.

No property tax assessed on your vehicle. Just homestead property that you own.

    The vehicle inspection criteria:

no codes since i changed out my beat up exhaust :)

i never had a problem with my bumpers. it was the off road lights, tail light guards (cant have anything breaking the plane of the head or tail lights), bed rack blocking 3rd break light, etc...... total PITA

thank god. there's a cool $400+ i'll save each year

Naw, you're good here... I block my 3rd with the besttop and lots of folks down here run tail light guards and brush guards w/headlight guards...

you'll be fine. I don't have any aux lights, but my father does on his F150 and doesn't have any issues so I think you'll be OK.
