    Well mine doesnt engage into 4x4, kinda my fault. But most people have said the actuator malfunctions

    what's the TSB do? they actually redesign the part, or are they just putting in a new one of the old design?

    It not being sealed, leads to corrosion in the terminals I guess

    if that's the case, dennis, as soon as they put it on, go home, take iot off, and seal it upo yourself. lil bit of silicone goes a long way in regards to longevity.

    i don't think it's a year speciffic issue, but just luck of the draw. i've had mine fully submerged a good number of times, and (knock on wood), it's still working like a champ.

    i'd ask them to solder the terminals and load that thing up with dielectric grease before it goes on. a bead of silicone around that gasket would be nice too.
