    This would be something I'm interested in doing. I don't know if I'd make the leap though. My thought is it might be better to sell and then buy 4x4.

    My insurance only covers up to $5000 in modifications before the policy has to be changed. With the current upgrades AND a four wheel drive conversion, it might push me over the edge....

    If I ever get around to pricing everything out, I'll let you know what I come up with.

    I've seriously thought about trading in my PreRunner for a 4x4 and have gone as far as scouring dealership parking lots and crunching numbers. However, I'm *this* close from paying my truck off 2.5 years early and I really want that monthly raise a paid-off truck would provide.

    Yeah buddy. I have all the materials, six or seven types of perforated and expanded aluminum sheets, sandpaper, and a dremel so I'm ready. Any last minute tips?
