    I've known two girls who had MR2's, one being my lady, and they both have said the same thing: they're fun at first and then you realize how slow and limited they really are.

    If you're looking at a small, fun, capable sports car look at the RSX-S. I've always wants one and luckily for me my lady drives one now. They're fun as hell.

    Well she doesn't really need anything fast, but it would be nice to have something sportier than her corolla. I have a friend that has an RSX-S but it doesn't feel that impressive to me but I haven't driven it so I could be wrong.

    She wants something that has bit more power along with some nice handling, but honestly she just wants anything other than her old 99 corolla and I don't blame her. She wants something to work on that will actually benefit from her working on it.

    You made pretty good time. I miss West Texas.

    Shrug. It's subjective IMHO, dependent on what the driver wants... But when two previous owners who actually knew their cars fairly well say that their MR2 got old quickly, there might be something to it.

    I personally don't, but from what I remember being told, parts were a pain to come by and to do actual work on them was a bit of a pain due to the very compact/unconventional size. I'll ask and find out specifics.
