For BBQ go to Hard Eight in Coppell. If you go to Hard Eight you have to get Poppers. If you like steaks there is the Silver Fox or Del Friscos. If you have money to burn Three Forks up in plano.

if you are interested in JFK assassination story, the memorial could be of interest. dallas museum of art, nasher sculpture center, the arts district. all are in down town. there is are a lot of options anddepends on your likes and taste. the uptown district has lots of food and drink and shopping options.

    Food:
    Cane Rosso (pizza)
2612 Commerce Street Dallas, TX 75226
    ph. (214) 741-1188

    Pepe's and Mito's (mex-tex)
2911 Elm Street Dallas, TX 75226
    ph. (214) 741-1901

both were featured on diners drive-ins and dives and not far from the aquarium in downtown.

good luck and hope you enjoy dallas.

Papa Brother's steak house if you want a really nice meal. Trust me on this place, wine and food are extremely good. All have mentioned some good places that you can't go wrong with. If you want to make it over to Arlington I could really help you there since I have grown up here.

Give Villa's in Irving a try, they are a small Brazilian Steak House like the Texas de Brazil at a fraction of the price ($19.99 for Dinner and $12.99 for Lunch). Go hungry. Try all the meats and don't miss out on the Pineapple!

Hard 8's in Coppell hands down for BBQ.

If you want a good evening of fun and are with a few friends....try Pete's Piano Bar in Addison (get there early). Get ready to pay strip club prices for Beer ($4.50 a pop for domestic).

The Allen area where the built the new shops of 75 is a cool area.

Wanna see some nice tail, head out to Uptown or Northpark Mall.

Want to spend time in some water.......try Denton Water works. Cheaper than H-Harbor.

If you want some action.....BabyDolls is the best club in town hands down (or pants down).

You can also catch a Rangers game and be sure to tour the Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Don't hang out in downtown at night. There are a few clubs on Main St., but other than than it's dead and over run by the homeless. Uptown and the shops in the Allen/Fairview area are nice....
