Anybody ever go to phantom?

 

You guys ever make it down to San Angelo? Some decent trails around Twin Buttes if that's what you are looking for

 

I'll be going to Twin Buttes this weekend with a buddy to ride dirt bikes. Are there trails for trucks too? You from San Angelo?

 

Yeah the trails are everywhere.

I work on Goodfellow AFB here in San Angelo.

 

I'll see if I can gather a couple of people to head out that way with me this weekend. You available to go wheelin if we show?

 

I should be around all weekend. Brand new truck tho so I won't be going crazy but would love to go

I'm not sure exactly where at to be honest. I'll have to get with my friend and see where - he's the one I'm going with. I figured we'd ride dirt bikes for a bit then when we got tired we'd hit up the trails with the truck. What truck did you end up getting?

 

id be down. just pm me with some details and maybe we all head down there as a group. sadly no dirt bike anymore but would love to meet some people and wheel.

so who all is going to the jamboree? i really want to go but dont want to be a loner the whole time. maybe we can get a list together and run up there as a group. im in as long as someone else comes along.

 

Leeeeroyyyyyy - you have any more information about the jamboree such as a link? And I talked to Boone and he showed me a video of Gilmer...looks super technical and fun!

 

the website should have everything you want to know but driver registration is $100 and includes Access to Trails During Event, Access to Campsites & RV Spots, Drivers Raffle Ticket, Friday Night Dinner, Saturday Night Dinner, Event Guide, Event Decal, and Event T-Shirt. its about fives hours away but like otters said it is fun, technical stuff. the park is 1,850 acres that has elevation changes and is also wooded. the event is non-profit and so far there are about 300 people attending of which 172 are drivers. if yall want to know anything else let me know and ill try to find out.

Taco dude and I ran out to buffalo gap and ran a little trail but wasn't really worth goin unless you wanna explore. I'm trying to get a little group started so if you're interested pm me and hopefully we can all go wheelin together.
