That's exactly what it does. Fairly inexpensive and seems to be worth every penny if you ever need it.

I have my CHL. Carry a S&W M&P Shield 40, keep a Springfield XD-40 sub-compact in my truck and have Springfield XD(m) 40 in my home.

The Xd(s) is a slim line, single stack 45. They will be coming out with an XD(s) 9 sometime during the summer. The XD is a double stack so it is a bit thicker and ,depending on model, taller.

Texas Law Shield is basically a lawyer service. You pay them a monthly/ yearly fee and if you ever are in a situation where you even draw your weapon, they represent you from start to finish. You don't pay any extra cost for them to represent you. They have multi-state coverage, depending on reciprocity and state, for an extra cost.

CHL holder for past 4 years. Daily carry an SW M&P Shield in 9mm, also a member of TLS. Definitely worth it in my opinion. Never want to use the insurance, but good to know they have my 6 covered if need be.

The wife and I have both had TX CHL for 7 years. I carry XD40 compact in a Galco IWB for standard XD (lets it ride a little lower).

She carries a Walther P22. Still looking for the right holster.

I was skeptical about her carrying a .22lr. It's the only thing she can rack consistently. However, she proved herself on the range. She can "triple-tap" in a 4" group at 7 yards. That should do it.

I use to carry a Springfield xd 40 subcompact but wanted something lighter and thinner so now I carry a ruger LC9. It's nice since you can just slip it in my pocket if you want
