Offroad shop help

Hey guys, Angleton boy here. Im fixing to go buy my new taco this weekend if everything works out right and im gonna want to put my lift, tires, and wheels on pretty soon afterwards. Anyone got any recomindations on where to take it to? I know of 4 wheel parts by the dome and what used to be texas trucks unlimited ( i think they are called something else now ) over in pearland. I think theres a place called B&C offroad in pasadena too. Anyone got any recomindations? thanks

 

I'd recommend B&C, the guys at the 4WP on 610 south loop are also very helpful. With a little research on here you could feel confident enough to do it yourself, it's not that bad really as long as you take your time and do it right the first time. You could even buy some beer and get some local help

 

DIY and save your cash.

 

Man id love to but im really not all that mechanically inclined. I can do some of the minor stuff like changing oil and break pads and stuff like that but id hate to try and tackle something like this.

 

think 4w charges 500, not sure bout the others. there is a place called xtrem trucks? not sure but they are in Alvin.

or I could do it. for two cases of beer!

While I can certainly understand not wanting to do it yourself (I didnt do mine myself) I would definitely take up an offer if you have some local guys to do it for you/help you out. Probably learn a lot and save yourself 500 bucks.

nah man its not even like that. lol I can use all the help i can get!
I had sent out some pm's to others just asking question and such to see what my options look like. Like i said, im more than happy to take some help if we can set it up. Hell, ill provide all the beer and even throw some food on the pit. I havent even bought my truck yet. Im going to hopefully get it tomorrow. I have to start a shutdown here at the plant mid march and it will go through mid april. Im hoping to have all my stuff ordered and at the house when i get offa shutdown. If we can work something out after that on a weekend that would be awesome!

 

Just don't get those 20" wheels you were asking bout.

 

Ya ive decided to can that idea. I like the look of some twankies but man the price difference to go to a 20 vs a 18 or 17 is freakin crazy!
