Depending on when I get my truck back. I might have stock smoked lights for you. Smoked looks better than bhlm

Lol I already knew that option but he says his weren't burnt.
I sure do appreciate it Dennis. But I was just asking how you got yours recalled without them being burnt. And hmm I have never considered smoked vs bhlm. I wonder how they look together.

You just reminded me about exxon. I have interviewed with 4 companies including exxon and have one more next week. So far everyone has called back (awaiting 4th)

If you wanted to do the smoked headlight mod, just use a sort of grey metallic paint instead of black, on the bezel. Pretty much what it is.

But isn't it also the lens and chrome reflector bowl?

Nope. I opened mine up(because some dumb ass hit my light with a ball and knocked the DTRL lens off) and the bezel was the only thing smoked. The lens was clear and the reflector was chrome

I think that the newer f-150's are the only trucks that have a smoked lens. NHTSA was not too happy about that.

I can't see it on my phone, but is it the big ass bonfire that they have every year? We would have people come into Lowe's for weeks at a time, asking for pallets.

Still can't seem to post from my phone. I have to wait till I come home, upload pics to my TW account then post them on the forum. Pain in the a$$! Anyway, yes that is the bonfire. By the time I got close enough to get good pic it was already burnt down. :bananadead:

If it really is just a gray bezel rather than a black one, I think BHLM looks better. I need to see it in person again to believe it because I thought there was more to it.

My thoughts exactly... I am in my sophomore year in college and I'm already getting that feeling. I miss high school. I try to enjoy my current time because I know it's supposed to be the peak of my life but I often just think of how fast this is all going to pass. One of the reasons I went skydiving last summer. I was choosing a job location to be considered for last week and they were all far away from my friends... I'm only in my third semester and graduation feels so close. This makes me sad :(

I did not realize that I was so close to Roswell. I am really REALLY thinking about going next weekend......for research purposes. The government has desert colored Raptors that they use as scouts, scouts. Let's see them try to haul something with that racing suspension....SQUAT

Dunno....there are some dunes to the northeast and southeast, about 20 minutes from there. Might run from some Raptors. You never know what I might get myself into.

    Then again, it's Roswell.
