Remove the blank where the fog light button should be, you might need a wiring harness if you want it to look factory but I would think it comes prewired.

    My 2013 pre-runner was pre-wired. But its a 6 cyl.
Remove the 1st switch blank closetst to the door there should be a plug behind it.

that's what I said too.. tx edition and no fogs! :frusty:

I took a little peak around under the front bumper and fog light area and I didn't see any wire or socket, so Im pretty sure its not pre wired. might just get the light and not connect it. better looking than just a black plastic

Here's what I did. I bought the fog for a camry which was way cheaper then the ones for tacoma. Ebay had them $40. Just had to modify the opposite tabs to make it flush fit. Took me about 15mins. Did not wire it for now.

I was pretty disappointed when I realized my Texas edition had no fog lights...guess this is my next to-do!

My truck has plugs behind blanks in the dash for seat warmers. But I don't have them. Its cheaper for a manufacturer to produce one harness and just not install certain options than produce multiple harnesses for differently equipped vehicles. I'm sure the plug is there but you'll probably have to buy the fog lights and front harness. Check the fog light relay socket, if it has pins in the socket you're in good shape.
