If it makes you feel any better I don't get a bump over my normal hourly rate when I go over my 40. But I do get paid for every hour I work.

I wish. They keep all the interns hours to 40/ week here. I just pick up side contracts for CAD work

I thought you were there like 5 hours a day or something?

    That stinks.

    Soon? It's Friday!

That's very rude to celebrate his leave like that. See you there!

    Dat bro lean

If I was salary I wouldn't be on TW near as much! Not that I use this to waste time but I would take breaks as little as possible and this is my break... It substitutes coffee. :notsure:

Well that sucks man. I am salary non exempt for the summer so I get paid salary, but if I go over 40 I am paid overtime.

It seems like the best idea ever to me. Everyone here at my office has me not wanting to work salary ever in my life... Unless it's crazy high

So you aren't at work? And same here with interns. Are you saying you don't get enough hours? CAD ftw

That's not bad. At my last place of employment the engineers were only salary. All the designers were salary plus overtime. But all the bonuses went to the engineers at the end of the year.

At my office they try to keep everyone to 40 per week. Although if we're over a little bit it's not a big deal

I'm working today. I put in my 40 here and then I pickup side jobs and moonlight design work at small firms around town sometimes. It pays real good
