2013 V6 Black Bumper NEEDED!

My wife was hit from behind and the bumper is jacked up. The person at fault his insurance is a joke and he didn't have a license . They are claiming the person driving did not own the car and didn't have a license so they might not cover it , HMmm . They even asked to do a EDR test to prove we are telling the truth .
So just to keep from claiming it on my insurance does anyone have a bumper ?
Its a 2013 V6 Tacoma 4 door matelic grey truck and the bumper is the black one with the holes in it for a ball. Does anyone have one and if so how much just in case I need to buy one . The truck picture is in my sig .

Yea, small bull shit insurance companies will do that. It's just a way to make them more money by not spending money. Should ask you insurance company if they will go after the other drivers insurance for the money.

 

His insurance called today said his policy expired he did not pay his premium. So this ow need to find one . 357Sig thanks I'll keep looking for the oem black in color . Can you pm me a price on the white oe and is there any damage ?

I have the SRS chrome rear one I can sell. Been wanting to get a high clearance anyway but I'm all the way in DFW.

 

You might want to check it but I believe under Texas law if you're hit by someone else who is not insured etc that you can take possession of their vehicle to reimburse your damages. Or at least until they pay for the damages, at which time you relinquish the vehicle back to them. Would I do it? You're damn skippy I would. I pay insurance on 5 vehicles.. so I have no sympathy for freeloaders.

 

Last time this happened to me, we claimed it under our insurance. And the insurance went after the driver for the money to reimburse us back

 

Yep, probably the simplest way to go. I'd be afraid if they didn't have a license that they might just lay the cost back on me. But I guess it depends on all of the variables.
