Hello all. My name is Blake and I live in Austin. Last Wednesday I picked up a 2009 Tacoma V6 4x4 with TRD off-road and towing packages. So far I have been loving it! As with any car I have owned I found a good online forum and already am dreaming of what I want to do. Below is a quick list of what I am thinking.

    • Replace JBL head unit with 7in touchscreen
    • Replace both bumpers
    • TRD Supercharger/Exhaust
    • 17in wheels with 35in tires (with minimal lift and fender alterations)

    Other:

    • Leather
    • Projector retrofit

Welcome. 35s with minimal lift and minimal fender alterations will pose a problem. Plus 35s on that 8" reared is not the most ideal combination.
Most will run a 33" with 3" lift.
Again, welcome and let's see some pics of your truck.

Thanks for the info. I have not done the research on what it would take to get 35s. I really don't want to do more than a 3" lift. If all I can fit are 33s that is fine with me. My goal is to improve ground clearance while keeping center of gravity as low as possible.
