    Nope. I cut some deep notches/grooves so the reel can fall into place pretty securely. Drove down an extremely rough jetty road once doing 60, came out ok.

    I would attend something like that! seawolf park and sylvan beach have a lot of parking available (early arrival to park in a large group). just not sure how many TW peeps are around the Houston area would be willing to do something like that since I am new here at TW.

    I hate seawolf park. I'd say there should be around 10 or so people that would come out to fish. If we set a good date. the area of where to fish can be discussed

    I have seen the PINS and RVG meets, just a little far for me right now. ill keep an eye out for a meet for around the Houston area..... maybe a senior member (hint, hint) with a lot more contacts and connections than myself, could start a thread about a informal fishing / meet and greet?

    dude lol. not senior (as in age), but senior (as in rank on this site). im ok with the older peeps go fishing they might out fish us and I could learn some tricks of the trade. (got a neighbor who thinks he is the best fisherman in the state) and I cant have that!
