    truthfully... no idea, was already down at galveston and just found a beach you could drive on. didnt really do much driving around tho as it was gettin dark already, but did pull a guy out of the sand tho, finally got to try out the locker

    That's San Luis Pass. Idk if I'm going to make it or not but I would be cautious about driving on the dunes (it is illegal) or getting too crazy as far as driving wrecklessly. The toll booth operators have a vantage point for the whole area. There are some paths already carved out with some deep sand along with packed areas also.

    I have been out there around 5 times and I have never had a problem. I think as long as your not doing donuts, tearing through marshland, or doing a keg stand while attempting to drive you will be okay. There are clear trails to follow, and some have some challenging obstacles. I figure those will be ones we will be going on. :D
