I noticed that there are quite a few members from San Antonio on here and was wondering if yall would want to have a local meet sometime. Another forum I get on (saoffroad.com) had a meet a while back at Medina lake. They BBQ'ed and hung out at the lake for the day. We could do something like that or just find some place in town to meet up. A bunch of imports meet up in a Lowes parking lot near my house.

If you are interested, start throwing out suggestions. I'm game for whatever.

Where do most of yall live? (North/South/East/West Side?)

What would be a good time? (Weekend, Friday Night, etc.)

    Where? (Lake, Parking Lot, etc.)

I'd be down it would give me a good reason to go to SA, I live in Corpus so lets get this going, there is a Corpus meet later this month, so maybe toward the end of July early August could be cool.

If you guys can come up with someplace good then I would be down for the short drive. I think a parking lot is a bad idea, it is just too damn hot for that. If you guys don't mind driving a little, the central Tx group meets at least once a month, Next meet is at BVORR on June 26-27th in College Station. You don't have to wheel your truck either, there will be plenty of open seats so you can just ride the trails with somebody else.

I think he was referring to the South Padre meet. I would be down to go to corpus, but Port Isabel is a little too far.

My schedule is weird, I'm free pretty much any night if we were just going to meet up somewhere. And I could probably plan around whatever we decide, if it's something during the day, like a trip to the lake.

I should have said that I would only be willing to meet in a parking lot when the sun goes down. Meeting during the day would be miserable unless we're near the water (even then it's hot).

I've got plans every weekend through the middle of July. We should plan one further out and do Cline Ranch or something.

I'm on the far northwest side of town, out 10. Unfortunately, I usually have an extremely busy work schedule and have YET to make it out to one of the meets. I've had the pleasure of meeting a couple guys on here via selling/giving away some parts, but other than that, I have not had the opportunity to put a face to a lot of the names on here. Hopefully some things will be changing with work pretty soon here and I'll be able to make it out to some of the meets.

As long as its not 4wd only, I would be willing to drive down for a meet. I could probably gather up a decent amount of X-Runners as well if you guys are interested in keeping it more 'urban'.

I don't think we are talking about an off road meet anyways, but if you guys are interested, we are having one in Bryan next weekend, the 26th. You guys should come out & ride with somebody else. There are always open seats & people are always looking for spotters & photographers.

My buddy Julian has about 10-15 acres down south here in Lytle texas. About 20 minutes south of San Antonio. The first 4 acres are clean, the rest is pretty nice for off roading. Its nothin fancy like big rocks or hills or nothing like that. I took my prerunner to the back, got stuck, hit a tree, came back with tons of scratches but it was FUN! I told him about this a while back and he thought it would be a great idea. There are about 3 small lakes, ponds in the back with steep drops and stuff like that for the 4x4 peeps. I really would like to get something like this going but I need some input. let me know if u guys have time. Maybe for a weekend or just a day. we can make it a camping meet. idk just let me know.
