    Yea, more weight.
Get one that will haul your truck loaded with gear, and it'll free up space in the camper. You can use the trailer for other adventures when not pulling the truck.

None - just bought today at an auction.
I have a 2003 Tacoma extended cab 4x4 automatic. I put the transmission in Park, the transfer case lever in neutral, turn the ignition switch to acc to unlock the steering wheel.

I have towed this behind my Newmar Dutch Star for over 5,000 miles now with no problem. I have a Blue Ox tow bar and base plate, takes 5 minutes to hook up and go - my wife can do it.

Owners manual says not to tow. They just do not want to be liable for someone screwing up a transmission!

pretty sure owner's manual says no...particularly for a 4x4, very bad idea!
