With the AllPro 3" leaf springs. Tires measure around 31.5" tall.

It's the All Pro 3" pack. The shock mounts and Light Racing jounce shocks are more custom, obviously.

As for the lights, well, it gets pretty dark at night here in NJ.

I was running Walker Evans reservoir shocks and they worked really well. I had interference issues with the rear disc brake conversion so I had to redesign and am now running Fox 2.5" reservoir shocks in a custom configuration out back.

Fox is well known and established as making very high quality products, and All Pro worked out a deal with them for a custom shock specific to the new Tacoma rears. I believe All Pro is the only company carrying these as they were made to their specs.

Like I said -- I was happy with the W/E product but I only used them a limited amount. I've heard they have corrosion issues over time, whereas the Fox shocks should last indefinitely and can be rebuilt if need be.

Wow MJP2, I just got to looking at your Photo's... you have done a ton to your truck, nice work. Ok, I think I am leaning towards OME 885's and their shocks for the front, and All-Pro's rear kit.. BUT the million dollar question, it's not recommended for load.. are there any 3" Rear lifts that are?

It rarely happens that way.

The Timbrens are sealed hollow rubber so you won't have to worry about onboard air.

SWEET! perfect.. about 200 a pair? expensive rubber. I guess it has spacers in the kit? hard to know what to expect with all these different lifts out there.

Labor Day: Now I have time to ask.

All those questions still are on my side. LIFT + TOWING. I found a lot of answers in this thread, believe me I'm still asking a lot of more questions since on these answers they are PROS and CONS (not defined by me -I lack of any lift experience in the past) for each opinion. First I have an 08' DC 4x4 with tow package, but It sags a lot (More than 2 inches) and I like to avoid that, What will be my best shot to eliminate this?

A Stronger leaf pack (it might lift the rear) or
A stronger rear suspension, leaf pack + shocks.

But I will like to have a leveled truck when not towing (front lift) and I'm planning to get an ARB bumper on the near future (with lights -no winch-).


How can I start (best start) and avoid any changes ($$$) in the future.

PS: I'm currently with no TSB (it is an '08), but fighting for it.

You can consider air bags, or an AAL. My boat weighs about 2900 lbs loaded, and my rear only sags about 1". Truck is close to level when lashed up.

RV is about 3,000 pounds (dry), Does yours has an AAL or AIR BAGS or TSB?

I don't think that is a fair comparison though.. is a Boat going to have as much tongue weight as a Loaded Camper? Not too mention all the toys in the bed of the truck..

Mvega, a Texas Camper.. is that Ink's lake? Get the TSB (for now)done (if at all possible), it will help your truck a lot in it's current configuration. I imagine you can't load the front of your Camper (Nice by the way) with very much stuff because of the rear Sag on the truck...

You are totally right, I have to carefully select what I can take prior to any trip and avoid further damage to the rear suspension (if any), being a TRD off road 4x4 LB I almost sure that the TSB for me will include only the extra leaf for the current pack on both sides and probably other small required changes.

It is Ink's Lake indeed, we went on this past June and enjoyed a 3 night stay this was the "break-in" for our Evolution 3, we just got back from Bastrop State Park it is also a beauty, thanks for your compliments.

Timbrens... I am thinking, even if you get the TSB, if you put a ATV or a heavy load in the front of your camper, you will still have "Sag" issues. I have not seen them used, but some have said this cures the sag problems for lifted trucks that tow. My Question is, if your load is being supported by springs AND these "Timbrens" does the ride quality just go out the window? I have a great ride while towing with my TSB suspension.. probably only 400 lb tongue weight, and 300lb or so in the bed with the Dog (no, the dog is not 300lb.. ).. If the back is riding on the Timbrens, is it like riding on the bumper stops? Does it shake the Teeth out of your head?

Did Ink's for the first time a couple of weekends ago.. I had a great time, but the wife said she wasn't impressed. Loved Devil's Waterhole..
