? about towing with 6inch lift

Hey guys. I got a question im hoping some of you can answer. I have an 08 tacoma with a three in lift and and running 32 inch tires. I tow an 18ft bass boat pretty regularly. the total boat weight is prob between 2,000-3,000lbs. My question is could i still tow this boat if i was to install a six inch lift and run 33inch tires with the lift. I know i would need to install brakes on the trailer for sure, but im just not sure about the pulling part. Thanks for all your help.

 

Agreed. I saw a bit of a change from 32's to 33's. I would think about the regear for sure.

 

Thanks guys. i guess i will just wait a while to do the lift. Because if im gonna regear then i might as well regear for thirty fives. I towed this boat with a 2000 tacoma that had 305/70R16 for a long time but it was an auto. my truck now is a 6 speed.

 

mine tows a 22 foot jet sled just fine even pulled my dads 30ft guide boat a strech gas milage sucked but i had no problems stopping or going sagged a little bit but not much
