Hey guys, i have a 2010 DC and am thinking of buying a Coachmen Freedom Express 170RB-LTZ. Here is a link for the specs... here.

Can my taco pull this? I have the tow package and the unloaded weight is 2977 lbs and the cargo carry capacity is 2423 lbs.

Any help is appreciated. Just want to know if its too much for it to pull.

you should not have a problem... Make sure you get a WD hitch and a sway control...

I tow a Coachmen Apex 22qbs which is about 3700 dry with 2500 cargo capacity with a lifted 2006 tacoma extended cab prerunner all over the state so far.

the best place to read about this rv stuff is www.rv.net...

the hitch will run between 250 and on up for some of the good ones..some like the hensley arrow are about 2500.
you can get a wd hitch with sway control which work really well..
seperate friction sway control is about 100.00 and brake controller is about 120..some rv places will work this stuff
    into the deal...

Don't go cheap on a WD set up. Look up Dual Cam

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
I went cheap on the WD setup and ended up selling it at a loss, buying the dual cam setup, and it made a complete world of difference.

I wish I had never thought saving $400 bux for the safety of my truck/trailer and family was ever worth it.

That is an old picture, in that pic it has a 3" spacer lift with block in the back...here is an updated pic....

    FB_IMG_1456492019975_zpsl335u8bc_2e2f306b4dbefe0c92aba34d159de034f50f45c2.jpg

this has a 4" spindle lift, light racing upper a arms, and bilsteins at 1.5" and All Pro Expo leafs in the back with a 1" block....rides 10 times better than the spacer lift...also have dodge tow mirrors, n-fab side steps,
go rhino bed rack, and a custom bike rack that i made...tires are goodyear duratracs, 285/75/16, i had nitto terra grapler before...same size...and since i tow allot i installed a set of 4:56s in the diff...
