Take a tape measure and measure the dimensions of the bed (I have a LB, so I don't know short bed dimensions) then measure the quad, or get the quad length/width off the manufacturers website.

My 700 Grizzly fits with the tailgate down, but make sure to use wheel chocks or something similiar so front bumper does not hit and break rear window.

LTZ400 fits good with out hitting the back glass. with the tail gate down the rear tires go about 2" past where the tailgate folds down

+1 I have hauled my Grizz 700 in the bed of my truck. I just make sure to tie it down so that it can't come forward and hit the window.
