2011 Curtis T-con Led only trailer lights ?

2011 4wd Tacoma AC

I bought a Curtis T connector for my 2011 access cab for trailer wiring.
A couple of questions.
1. I do not wish to pull the converter off to see, but with the converter alone
does it make the blinkers blink quicker (seems too) ?
2. Can I hook it to incandescent bulbs on my trailer or does it overload
Tacoma led blinker circuitry?
3. When Tacomas went to Led tail lights did they use old type blinker relays
and add extra load to compensate for less load for LEDs or is blinker in software now?
