Tite-Tie Tie Downs
Hey I was looking for a set of tie downs and came across this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XODlO...eature=related Has anyone ever used it? It looks pretty handy just afraid it may come apart. If you have any other suggestions for tie downs let me know. I don't plan on tying down anything big often. Just your usual occasional items e.g. boxes, ladders, stuff. |

Welcome to TacomaWorld! Good first post. Those look impressive. It says they are available at some Home Depots. I may have to try a pair. Thanks!

cute, but a "trucker's knot" is the same thing and doesn't cost anything but about 6 inches of rope.
wonder how much? |

I haven't checked the local Home Depot but according to their website you can get them online at IDL Tools International and they are listing it for $7.99 plus 2.99 shipping.

TiteTie down under
I have some of those TiteTie tie down tools and find them great. I use mine all the time on just about any old rope to secure loads on my trailer. I have had mine for about 4 years. I paid $10 a set and got them online from the inventor's website:
http://www.titetie.com.au He doesn't sell online anymore for some reason. Here in Australia they are available at just about every hardware store, maybe they will be soon in the US. |
