Looking to purchase Towing Mirrors for my Tacoma, pulling a 20' trailer about 8 ' wide. Any suggestion ? Will the side on style that fit the Tundra work??
Picking up camper next Friday. Hate the funky fender style..

I got the universal strap on the mirror type from CIPA on Amazon. They are cheap and work ok. A little shakey, but serviceable.

I got the Camco Tow and See from Walmart for like $20 each. These use suction cups and they worked ok for me. The drivers side is pretty good but the passenger was a little small for me. but worked ok

Thanks for your help!! A friend told me that PEP Boys have a universal style for under $20. I would prefer the slip on like the Trunda.

The slip-on style mirror for tundra wouldn't the tacoma, the vibration from the universal strap-on mirrors was bad. I installed Powervisionmirrors.com from a 98 chevy.

The powervisionmirror had multible non-treaded stud locations, I had to tap in treads to change one out of three stud locations to fit the door and cut a mud flap for a new trim filler piece. Just make sure the powervision mirrors fit an early chevy or dodge.

The ProEFX towing mirrors are AWESOME. There is a thread on here about them. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

For some reason or another I can't find this part number at any of the online aftermarket sites even the ones that handle ProEXF. Any suggestions on where I can order them from?

I also can't find the mirrors on line and contacting mach1man001 didn't help.

Can anyone offer any suggestions on where to buy the ProEXF mirrors?

    Thanks

Just returned from a 3 mo. trip towing a 20 ft travel trailer. Did not have towing mirrors and didn't need them. Could see both sides of the trailer with no problem. Went over 1600 miles. Had a hard time backing but that's what I brought the wife for. Bob S.

It is seeing behind the camper that is the issue, but glad it works for you.

Some jurisdictions require towing mirrors. i.e. even if you think you can see fine, a state trooper can pull you over. Check your laws.

A better solution in my opinion is a $50 backup camera kit like this one:
    http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-PLCM36-3-5-Inch-Universal-Rear-view/dp/B0037WNONS/
Stick the display on your windshield next to the rear view mirror. Install the camera on the back of the trailer, and route the wires all the way to the front and into the truck cab.
