There is a neat little trick I learned. When we had a 2 wheel drive truck my wife would be ready to drive the truck after I strapped the bow down. I'd hit the boats horn and if the wheels spun. I'd giver full throttle on the boat to give the truck some momentum. When we had a motorhome, I made the mistake of launching the boat on the beach. getting out of there was a pain but I did it after spinning the tires and feeling the motorhome hopping quite a bit. We went to a proper launch to retrieve the boat. I have also managed to spin the motorhome tires on a concrete ramp. they really need to texture the concrete.

I have pulled a 23 sea hunt out of all kind of launches. Never spun tires once. If I ever got into trouble, I would lock up the rear diff.

the lack of a diff is a locker. A differential is what allows one tire to spin faster than the other.

Well the locker will help to put more power to the ground. So why have the power go to one wheel when you can make it go to two? :notsure: Or does he already have a limited slip?
