Looking to switch to this unit from my current chain WDH with sway friction bar.

The Equalizer package comes with a shank that has a 3" inch drop and 7" inch rise. My trailer is about 27" from ground to the inside of coupler.

Would the standard shank be enough for 2012 DC Prerunner?

    TIA,
    tntrac

Without measuring, that sounds like it would be fine on a prerunner. The trailer is really up there, but that is not exactly a short truck.

I got the answer via their site. They asked for height of hitch and trailer coupler height.

Has anybody switch from a chain WDH with friction bar to the Equalizer 4 pt and find to be a better improvement?

I read other forums but I like to hear Taco owners since we have a better perspective
