I just wanted to point something out - on the web and in person i've been told my truck 2002 Tacoma 4x4 trd double cab has a towing rating for 5,000.
Well i just hooked up all new electrical and got a drop hitch etc.. there's a sticker on the hitch that specifically says....

2001 Tacoma and below = 5,000 tow rating and 500 tongue rating
2002 Tacoma and above = 6,000 tow rating and 600 tongue rating

    CRAZY RIGHT!!!!

Someone check their 1st gen and see if theirs says the same.

    :D

I feel lucky like i just gained 1,000 in towing capacity = more fat chicks!

man now you got me running late....

In response to your PM about my X-runner

    Woohoo
Didn't mean to hurt your widdle feelings.
Guess I need an X RUNNER to know everything.

    My feelings are hurt.

Believe me, owning a X-runner will not help you increase your common sense.

You can attack me all you want saying I'm this or that, but in the end the facts are the facts and you sir have not found anything I said to be untrue.

    Do you know why?

    Because it's not.

and just so you know I am a novice 4x4 enthusiast. I know little to nothing about trucks and have zero formal education about them. This Toyota is actually my first truck. I'm just your typical white collar desk jockey.

Ill be back tomorrow. Happy dreams. Ill be thinking of you
