2.4L 4-banger: Can I tow a Uhaul 6x12 trailer

    2000 2.7 4x4 manual
    Trail Gear front and rear bumper, 5100's all 4 corners, Eibachs, toytec AAL 1980 Ford pickup horn, and lots of battlescars :)
    Ive put in our 22 foot 5500lb Sea ray ski boat with my 2000 2.7 a few times before, i think if yall have a hitch, and not a bumperball, most of yall should be fine.

    Many people tow from the bumper and if you have ever had that bumper off you would know why I can not believe it. I had a 4cyl before this truck and it tows the weight just fine but I use a class 4 hitch.

    I believe the bumper is only rated for 500 lbs.

    I work on the rule that you can multiply the max loads on things by 1.5 and you'll be alright, just my theory
