    Greetings ,
I have a 12 Tacoma with the towing package . I've looked for the factory plug above the left kick panel and cannot locate it . I guess I may have to remove the kick panel , I do not know how to remove the left foot rest which the kick panel is secured by . Please help .

It should be fairly easy to remove the kick panel, if I remember correctly the sill plate has to come out first. The plug is there, often pointing upwards towards the back. Took me a while, but I found it. Move the driver seat all the way back and lay in there and look upwards and use a small bright flashlight. Awkward, but it will help.

    Build thread coming soon!
On my '12, it was behind the big spaghetti mess under the kick panel. You really need to feel around...
