err ...oh yeah....ummm.....I'm having the same problem as the OP. I'm also having a problem with my truck doing wheelstands at take off. The boost is insane and other trucks are asking my truck "why do you lift bro"? It's embarrasing for me and for my truck. Any help for me and the OP would help alot. Thanks.

    :gossip: how was that

I'm not towing with it. But back to the drag truck I want to know where I went wrong. If the links break I can make crome moly ones. I followed designs off of mustang forums and ls1 tech really tell me what's wrong. As far as drivetrain its a 2jz with a th400 trans

Single shear shock mounts, wimpy tabs with no bracing or gusseting of any kind, lateral separation seems off, (may just be the pics) lack of coil buckets, and it looks like it was burned in with a Harbor Freight flux core pos............. Get me some better pics and i could most likely keep going

    Where to start...?

    1. Typically when people argue and throw out their yearly income to impress, they are generally full of shit.

    2. $70,000 a year in the year 2013 is really not that much money, regardless of your age. Look it up, as it is probably average income at the very best!

    3. The maximum weights given for vehicles' tow rating are generally not just pulled out of someone's ass. No matter what you do to customize your vehicle, the rating will not change. Try to justify an overweight load all you want, both the laws of physics, as well as the laws of DOT, will catch up to you at some point.

    4. For the love of God, please tell me that your native language is not English, as you cannot compose a complete sentence to save your life! Are your parents proud of that?

I did use flux but .035 with a miller 200. Still has flux on it. I swear the tabs are symmetrical I do have to add bracing to them but I need it on a lift I'm gonna do it the same time I make the trans crossmember because it lower since I had solid mounts made for the block . The trans needs to come down an inch. I also got the charts to change spring rate using leverage (how much it drops per 10Âş)

If you're making that much fucking money than buy a goddamn truck that will tow whatever the fuck you need.

Go get a GMC Kodiak , take the blocks out from under the tires of the house and tow yer house around and whatever else needs a towin. :notsure:

    Problem solved there Richie Rich.
