    When your trailer is not in use, what do you do to it?

    I use the combination of a pin lock through the coupler handle and a coupler lock that fits up in it. I want to add a wheel lock of some sort or a wire through the wheels for a little more protection.

    I live on a busy road and my trailer sits in front of the gates because it is too wide for the current gate. My house is rented so changing the gate is not really an option.

    I just use a coupler lock like your first picture. It works pretty well except I seem to lose it and have to buy a new one every few years.

    Coupler lock is the best. Chain through the wheel has proven to be less effective. I have seen people take the rim off of the trailer and swap it with another rim then drive off with the trailer.

    i would have it looped through the leaf spring as well but they could still drag it

    i and my brother both use a coupler lock and pin lock.
    he has a "boot" that covers the lugs and locks also.
    i have a 1/2'' chain on my to the carport.
    both are 95% the time blocked in by a vehicle.

    Coupler lock out front, DIY chocks on the wheels;
    I figure someone will notice them standing in the driveway with a hacksaw and wrenches to get it free..

    I use a coupler lock. I don't like the idea of chains around the wheels because I'm likely to forget about them and drag it :eek: With the coupler lock, no way I can forget about it.

    i would be worried about dragging it too but i would rather be a little safer and work it into my morning routine to get it ready to pull
