2010 Tacoma

I just installed a Curt tow bar and CURT T-Connector #55513 on a 2010 Tacoma. I am trailering a Coleman Fleetwood Destiny camper. The lights all seem to work but they are very dim. I believe the grounds to all be good.
Any idea on the cause?
