Towing in slippery conditions with an Anderson No-sway hitch

I would like to hear from anyone using the Anderson No-Sway hitch, that has experience with it in slippery conditions.

From what I understand friction type anti-sway devices should be removed or disengaged in slippery conditions, but the way the Andersen is designed you can't do that without loosing the weight distributing feature of the hitch also.
