Best receiver hitch for 1St Gen. Is there a difference?

I have a 2004 xtra cab 4X4 with the 2.7 5 speed. I need to add a receiver hitch and am looking at the usual brands.

Is one better that the others or do I go with the Curt that sell for around $135?

I don't mind spending the extra for a Drawtite or Hidden Hitch but not if there's not a difference.

Thanks!

I would go with the least expensive major brand. I have put aftermarket hitches (the last one or two were Curt) on several vehicles and have had no problems.

Thanks for the reply's.

I'm going with the Curt then, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake.

I purchased and installed a new draw-tite on my 04 taco. It bolted up with no issues. I tow a travel trailer with it.
