Supercharger for towing

Just got back from a long trip towing a 5100 lb trailer. Drove an average of 55 to 60 mph, hills and flat land. Averaged 12 mpg. I need more power on the hills. Am considering a supercharger. Cost will be cheaper than a new F150. Has anyone towed with a supercharged Tacoma and is it worth the cost. Thanks Bob

Yes people tow with them. Is it worth it is up to your finances. I think it is though.

When you are in a boost you will use more fuel but you may need less throttle to keep your speed.

Bob, Check the thread "6 Cylinder Towing Review" for my experience towing without a S/C, and then with one.
You def want one! I just bumped it for you.
