    Hey Guys

I just installed a set of firestone ride rite airbags on my 09 DC V6 LB, I installed them correctly and only put about 10psi in each until I tow and need to inflate them more. However today i realized i get a noise when going over speed bumps from the rear suspsnsion, its almost like it lifts off the leaf then comes back down and that is what i hear, does anyone else have this? I know they are installed correctly though. I think i wont hear it if i inflate it more or if i tighten the screws more that connect it to the leafs, but i didnt want it so tight that it will bend.

    Thanks
    Neal

I had everything real tight when I installed it, I cannot imagine it being loose, but I will double check it later and make sure everything is tight.

Hmmm. I dont really have anything in the bed to make noise and the ride doesn't feel that much stiffer. I will check all the bolts again to make sure. How tight did you make the 4 bolts that connect to the leafs? I have might tight, and if I do it any tighter that black metal bar will bend that is holding the nuts down.

    Neal,

I also just recently installed the Air Lift Bags for my 05' double cab taco. (well maybe 5K ago). Anyways, my springs made some noise for about the first 1K miles or so. I think it was just the springs adjusting to their new position with the bags around 7psi. Long story short, the noises are all gone at this point. It could simply be to just wait a while and see if the noise goes away.

    Hope this helps.

I installed the AirLift 59561 kit on my 06 PreRunner to help with towing my camper. They were quiet for the first few months then the drivers side bag started popping. I checked all the hardward and it was tight and intact. So I took off the bags thinking I might have a bad leafspring (from the recall). Leafs weren't bad. Left bags off for a while, no noise. Put the bags back on and they were quiet at first, but the sound from the drivers side bag came back after a while. It does it when going over speedbumps or taking off from a stop. Towing or loading doesn't seem to be affected, its just annoying. If I find an answer or cause, I'll post it.
