How do I disconnect the seven pin wiring?

    My seven pin connector is corroded. Two questions:

    How do I clean the connectors?
    How do I disconnect the wiring - there's a plug with a white "hinge". Tried pulling and pushing but figured I ask here before I broke something!!!!!!:confused:
