Remote brake controllers?

Hi guys,

Im new to towing and need to install a brake controller in my taco'

Can you point me in the direction of a controller that I could mount underseat or otherwise?

I just dont see a clean install position in or under the dash.

How do you read your scangauge down there?

 

Its tilted up. But i can see it perfectly through the openings on the steering wheel.

That is the reese version of the drawtite controller I use and that I wrote up in the towing bible. That and the drawtite version have been discontinued, so when they are gone they are gone. so jump on it quickly if you are going to do it as the last time I was asked about and searched for these I came up with nothing.

I mounted mine on the right side of the steering wheel using the coin/junk pocket. This is how I installed it.
