I've searched all over the posts for a picture of what the transmission cooler on the tow package looks like....with no luck. Could someone snap a picture for me to help me out?

I'm trying to figure out if our '06, double cab, TRD offroad has the factory tow package. It has the oil cooler....but most concerned about transmission cooler for pulling a large boat.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It's very small and almost directly behind the bumper.
On drivers side of radiator I think.

We'll be pulling a Crownline 215 CCR (21 ft). Boat weight = 4200, estimated trailer weight = 1000, dual axle trailer with surge breaks.

Thanks for the advice and picture. I'll take a look after work tonight....hopefully it does have the factory tow package. Called the Toyota dealership, they said they couldn't tell me if it does by the VIN number. The owner's manual also says that if it doesn't have the tow package, the towing capacity drops from 6500 to 5500. Why is that?

Because, tow packages are for towing......
Seriously, the towing package addresses 2 issues
-electrical demands (bigger alternator, 7 pin connector)
-cooling (oil, and trans cooler, different clutch fan)
