I just installed a used oem hitch. A couple of questions.

    1) It did not come with the L-brackets. Can I use a piece of angle iron and drill some holes or buy two brackets from the dealer?

    2) It also did not come with the two bolts that attach the hitch to the bumper. I did a searched and the recommened #8 bolt standard or #10 metric. Should I buy a set from hardware store, Home depot OK or the dealer. What is the correct length?

Thanks for the help ahead of time.
