Step bumper hitch for 2002 taco

I'm looking for the little add-on dealie that you can bolt right onto your steel step bumper. I just need a receiver for a bike rack. Anybody know if there's one that fits existing holes (no drilling)?

I've seen these add-ons that you bolt on from underneath the bumper. A friend has an 08 Taco and he added a 2" one without drilling. I can't seem to locate one for my older model.

I am not sure if they are compatable with the gen 1 bumpers. For a bolt on receiver to work the bottom of the step portion must be completely flat. If memory serves, (and it has been a while since I've been under a gen 1 truck) the gen 1 step bumpers are not flat on the bottom.

In any case the bolt on hitches are 100 % one size fits all. But to secure them correctly they are all drilling required. Those plates have four holes in them. Two of the holes use the exhisting holes in the step bumper on either side of the ball mount hole, and then you are supposed to drill two more holes to give you 4 point attachment. Anyone who didn't drill did not use all 4 attachment points.

That said, a bike rack may be fine with just two attachment points, but quite frankly I wouldn't trust it to hold my bikes, but then again my bikes tend to cost half as much as my truck.

Also there are ball mount bike racks on the market. Meaning that you use the trailer ball itself to bolt the bike rack to the bumper, and that bolt is definately not going anywhere.
