CURT Brake Controller

I plan to pull a 7x14 tandem axle cargo trailer with brakes and am shopping for a controller. I won't be pulling the trailer every day or weekend, so a more expensive controller just doesn't seem like what I need. With that said, what is the boards general consensus on CURT? More specifically this model.

That controller should suit your needs just fine. I have a Curt Discovery brake controller installed in my truck and I think its a great product. It's very easy to calibrate and use. I have towed a few tandem axle trailers with mine and have no complaints. They are also super easy to install.

Thanks for the reply. I like your mounting location. I checked my seating position to see if a controller would interfere and it seems like it would work perfect. I'm guessing it was stuck on with double sided tape? Also, I have the factory harness/pigtail, is there another harness I should order from CURT?
