I am lookin at puttin a 3" coil in the front and Add a leaf in the rear nad i just bought a 18 foot travel camper. what i'm wonderin is it gonna be a good idea ot have a lift while towing the camper, is it a good thing or a bad thing. I have heard mixed feeling bout it.

Perfectly fine so long as your fully loaded towing position is perfectly level, or slightly nose down on the trailer. Setting this up is detailed in the towing bible.

All it will cost you is probably a new deeper drop draw bar for your receiver.

If you were intending to tow from a ball on the bumper then you'll have problems, but I do not advocate towing with a ball through the bumper even on a stock truck.
